Jennett’s Park CE Primary School is a popular, vibrant, caring and inclusive school with a distinctively Christian ethos. 

We are looking to appoint an experienced School Business Manager to our Senior Leadership Team, who is enthusiastic, committed and innovative.

The right candidate will provide the highest standards of financial, administrative and operational management, working strategically to ensure the most effective use of resources; they will work in partnership with all staff, managing the administrative support function, in order to secure the best outcomes for our children. The School Business Manager will need to demonstrate resilience and determination, and will show both creative and critical thinking - this is both an exciting and challenging time to be working in schools!

Previous financial experience including evidence of budget monitoring, resource management along with experience of managing team members in a business environment is essential. You will need to be highly organised to be able to prioritise competing workloads and be able to bring a fresh perspective to the role and to continuous school improvement.

The School Business Manager will be well supported by the Trust’s Head of Finance, the Headteacher and governing body to ensure that they are able to fulfil their role.

Pre–employment medical check

You may be asked about your physical ability to perform the job during interview. As a condition of the Offer of Employment, the successful applicant will be asked to complete an Occupational Health questionnaire from which our Occupational Health Advisor will assess your medical suitability to do the job.
